Waiver OF LIABILITY

By attending Connie's classes and/or working with Connie I agree to:
1. Listen to My Body
Pilates and Yoga are designed to be a safe and effective form of exercise, but every body is different. It’s important that I listen to my body and work at my own pace. If something doesn’t feel right, I will stop immediately and modify as needed. Always prioritising my comfort and well-being.
2. Consult My Doctor
If I have any pre-existing medical conditions, injuries, or concerns, I understand that I should consult with my doctor or healthcare provider before participating in classes. By joining the sessions, I confirm that I have received medical clearance if needed. I will inform Connie of any changes in my medical condition. I understand that the instructor must be aware of my medical background to provide a good duty of care.
3. Personal Responsibility
By participating in the Pilates/Yoga/Mind-Body movement classes, whether in person or online, I acknowledge that any form of physical activity carries some inherent risk. I accept full responsibility for my participation and any injuries that may occur. The instructor is there to guide me, but it’s up to me to dress appropriately and safely, move mindfully, follow adjustments, take the appropriate level of challenge and respect my body’s limits.
4. Release of Liability
By signing up for or attending classes, I voluntarily waive, release, and discharge Connie from any claims, liabilities, or expenses arising from injuries, accidents, or damages incurred during or after class participation, except in cases of gross negligence or improper instruction on the instructor’s part. This includes, but is not limited to, injuries resulting from improper use of equipment, personal negligence, or failure to follow instructions.
5. Online Classes
If I am participating in classes virtually, I acknowledge that the instructor cannot monitor my environment or form. I will ensure that I have a safe space free from hazards and follow modifications as needed. It is my responsibility to notify Connie of anything that affects my ability to exercise that day. By continuing with online sessions, I assume full responsibility for my own safety.
6. Payment, No-Show and Cancellation Terms
I understand that prices for sessions and packages are subject to change. Any changes will be communicated in advance and will not affect already booked sessions.
Privates - Cancellations or rescheduling must be made at least 24 hours in advance to avoid being charged for the session.
Group Classes - Cancellations or rescheduling must be made at least 12 hours in advance to avoid being charged for the session.
Late cancellations or no-shows will result in the full session fee being charged. No refunds unless agreed at the discretion of Connie.
7. Agreement & Acknowledgment
By registering for classes, I acknowledge that I have read, understood, and agreed to this waiver. I confirm that I am voluntarily participating at my own risk and release Connie from any liability, except in cases of gross negligence or improper instruction.
